Ten years ago, Sproet & Sprout began with a simple idea: to create kidswear that looks good, feels good, and does good. For the children who wear it, the people who make it, and the planet we share.
We’re a small team with clear ambitions. Each season, we craft collections full of stories that invite children to play, explore, and be themselves. But behind every print and fabric lies another journey; one of responsibility. We’ve built lasting relationships with trusted partners, working together to improve. From choosing to work with organic cotton & recycled polyester, to being transparent about our supply chain and reducing our footprint.

Behind every Sproet & Sprout garment is a story of collaboration and care. Our suppliers are not just factories, but partners who help turn our sketches into something real. Over the years, we’ve built lasting relationships with a small circle of makers in Portugal, Turkey, India, and Hong Kong/China; people who share our respect for craft, our love for quality, and our belief that true beauty begins with care.
Four out of our five long-term suppliers hold certifications such as OEKO-TEX®, GOTS, OCS, and GRS. These labels ensure that the cotton we use is truly organic, recycled materials get a real second life, and every step in our supply chain stays transparent. OEKO-TEX® also gives us that extra peace of mind knowing our clothing is safe, even for the littlest ones.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD100
A mark of trust: this certification guarantees that our garments are free from harmful substances and safe even for the most sensitive baby skin.
GOTS(GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARD)
The all-in-one certification. It goes beyond organic cotton — covering everything from how it’s grown and processed to the working conditions of the people who make it. From
field to hanger, GOTS monitors every step of the journey.
OCS(ORGANIC CONTENT STANDARD)
The numbers expert of the group. This certification verifies exactly how much organic material is used in a garment. Slightly narrower in scope than GOTS, but crystal clear when it comes to percentages.
GRS(GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD)
The label that ensures “recycled” truly means recycled. It tracks materials from old fibres to new fabrics, with strict checks on environmental and social practices along the way.
GYA
TIRAPUR, INDIA
GYA based in Tirupur, the vibrant heart of India’s knitwear industry, has been part of our story from the very start, bringing our jerseys and sweats to life. With over 600 skilled makers and fully integrated facilities, they oversee every detail — from the first stitch to the final packaging. What defines them is not just their craftsmanship, but their commitment to doing things right.
Certified by GOTS, GRS, OCS, and SA8000, GYA continues to invest in renewable energy such as solar and wind power, proving that true sustainability is woven into everything they do.
TC
PORTO, PORTUGAL
Amid the green hills of northern Portugal, TC brings our jerseys and sweats to life. Their craft lies in the details; finishes and washes that give each garment its own character, from subtle colour tones to a vintage feel.
As a GOTS- and OEKO-TEX®-certified
producer, they work with organic cotton and responsibly processed fabrics. With smallscale production and minimal stock, they help us reduce waste.
MT textiles
IZMIR, TURKEY
In Izmir, MT produces our jerseys, sweats, wovens and swimwear.
This family-run company, led by an inspiring woman, combines craftsmanship with a modern, vertical structure. Where every step, from fabric development to finishing, happens under one roof. The result is production that’s both efficient and transparent. Certified by GOTS, OEKO-TEX®, and GRS, MT is deeply committed to using organic cotton and recycled materials.
KW
PORTO, PORTUGAL
For our socks and tights, we work with KW, a Portuguese producer known for their eye for detail and dedication to quality. Their focus is on the everyday essentials that stay soft and beautiful even after countless washes.
Certified by OCS and OEKO-TEX®, KW ensures their materials are safe and that the organic content is carefully verified. Small in scale but essential to our collection, their craftsmanship adds a reliable foundation to our range.
LD concept
HONG KONG, CHINA
LD Concepts is our specialist in knitwear, denim, jacket and woven styles. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques, they create pieces designed for comfort, strength, and everyday wear.
While not all product groups are yet certified, they fully comply with our Code of Conduct and continue to take steps toward more responsible material choices. Their expertise helps us develop timeless, durable styles that fit seamlessly into every Sproet & Sprout collection.
